Vieira Events is a full service creative event design and planning company based in the Washington, D.C. area, but available for destination weddings and events. We specialize in crafting unique, impeccably executed weddings and events for all happily in love couples. Our team has a passion for creative experiences and imaginative details. We focus on creating bespoke, timeless, weddings and events that transcend trends and can be remembered fondly for years to come. Our planning and design talents combine to craft sophisticated, thoughtful occasions.

JULIE VIEIRA

Producing weddings and events is about truly getting to know each of my clients, and challenging myself to find ways to tell their love story in a manner that entertains and delights their loved ones for years to come.
Julie grew up in the Washington, D.C. metro area, followed by college at Cornell University. Prior to starting Vieira Events, she worked in project management and event planning, executing events, public engagement strategies, graphic design, and outreach for both corporate and federal clients. Her true passion, however, has always been entertaining… from cooking gourmet meals for family and friends, shaking up the latest twist on a Boulevardier, or flowering for personal events, she shares her love for others through food and hosting and seeks to bring that to each event.
Julie combined her project management experience, affection for entertaining and creative design skills with the goal of producing exceptional events tailored to each client… and Vieira Events was born. Since launching in 2014, we have cultivated a reputation for not only excelling with the logistical side of event planning and management, but marrying that with innovative and custom designs. With an artist and color theory professor for a mother, Julie has been sketching, painting and printing for as long as she can remember and applies these skills to every design she touches. She thrives equally on managing checklists and vendors as she does sketching new design concepts and figuring out how to execute them to perfection. Julie also brings extensive knowledge of graphic design and florals to each event she produces and can lend a unique perspective to these aspects of your event.
When she’s not working, Julie is enjoying life with her young daughter and husband, hiking in Shenandoah, Great Falls or Rock Creek National Parks with her two Belgian Malinois rescue dogs, cooking with a glass of GSM in hand, or renovating her 1950’s mid-mod home. While she may work more hours now as an entrepreneur, Julie strives to maintain the boundaries that allow a healthy work-life balance. After all, the point in life is experiencing the good things with the ones you love.
